Managed to look at the Tide Schedule and we had lots of time to get to the Island and back.Apparently the sea comes in very fast and a LOT of people do get stuck!

We have the same in The Netherlands. It's called "De Wadden" If it's low tide you can walk from Friesland to the little islands.
