I'm sure you all ready know this but yeah, he's Narutos' Father, they say so in Shippuden. I watch them in Japanese with Eng. subs so I've already seen it. Very nice pic btw!

Everyone seems confused about Naruto's past with his parents. So I'll clear things up. The 4th hokage is Naruto's father and a women called Kushina Uzamaki is his mother. The 4th got Kushina pregnant with Naruto. During the pregnancy, they decided to name him after the main character of Jiraiya's first book. Jiraiya had pointed out that this would make him Naruto's godfather, but they were happy with that. Soon AFTER Naruto was born the nine-tailed fox came and the 4th had to fight it. He then decided that he would use a special seal(can't remember the name) to seal it inside Naruto. This however caused his chakra to split in two(Yin and Yang) He put the Yang part of his chakra inside of Naruto and the Yin part on the seal making the demons chakra unusable. But doing this killed the the 4th. The 3rd wanted to protect Naruto so gave Naruto his mothers surname instead of his fathers. His mother on other other hand, no one knows where she went, so is presumed dead.

Minato Namikaze and his son Naruto really look nice here, but I have 1 thing you should notice while drawing new drawings - narutos han's look really messed up, isn't real enough, you should practice drawing those.

The truth is, how you guys keep saying Yondaime here Yondaime there, Yondaime means The fourth generation of the will of fire or in short, the fourth hokage. 'Yondaime's name is Minato Namikaze, his wife, the mother of Naruto, is Kushine Uzumaki. The reason why Minato sealed the Kyuubi in Naruto was because he sees that someday, Madara Uchiha (The one that summoned the Kyuubi as Jiraya said) would strike again and that Naruto can one day learn and use the Kyuubi's power to defeat Madara Uchiha. Naruto's surname is Uzumaki because Sandaime Sarutobi doesn't want anyone to know that Naruto is the Fourth's son. Minato also left a part of his soul in the seal so that when the seal is broken (Like in the Pein Invasion where Naruto agreed to give up his life to the Kyuubi in order to kill Pein) Minato would arise and restore the seal to protect Naruto from dieing, it can only be used one time and only once. That was the only time Minato REALLY debuted except for the OVA and when Naruto was training. Hmm read the manga and follow the anime closely peeps

yondaime, is naruto's dad.his name is minato namikaze of the konoha. naruto's mom is kushina uzamaki of the whirlpool country. and for all the confused ones, yondaime in japanese means ''fourth''so he's the yondaime hokage. and he sealed the kyuubi inside of naruto because: SPOILER ALERT!!!
the member of the akatsuki with the mask known as tobi is the one who set the kyuubi on the village. he is truly madara uchiha. minato was no match for him, but believed that he would attack the village again someday. and he figured that without some special power, naruto wouldnt be able to defeat madara. he didnt have to seal the kyuubi in naruto but he wanted naruto to be able to protect the village. so he used the shiki fuujin technique, known as the reaper or shinigame,and split the kyuubi's chakra in half: thus sealing the YIN chakra in the reaper and the YANG chakra in naruto.he also left behind a ''key to the seal'' which is the toad that carries the toad stock release form just iin case the current toad user dies in battle. which of course he left the key to his former teacher,jiraiya. hope that helped! the manga is more awesome than the anime, the bloody action just keeps on going!! the manga rocks!! dont watch the anime (cmonnn is aimed for ppl ages 7-12 :/ )
