Description A photo of a page from my canson sketchbook/watercolor journal. These are my travel palettes. As is described in the image, the Large Pan Palette is an inexpensive eye shadow palette from an import store.

This is a great DIY project and can be done with tons of containers. Bobbin holders, altoid tins, cosmetic palettes, childrens or vintage watercolor tins. If you have a tin that doesn't have dividers, pans and 1/2 pans can be purchased from most major art stores.

To do it my way: just clean out the eye-shadow and replace it with watercolor squeezed from a tube and allowed to dry.

The current colors in the large palette are Daniel Smith Undersea Green, Daniel Smith Quinacridone Rose, Winsor Newton New Gambogue, Daniel Smith Opera Pink, Daniel Smith Ultramarine Turquoise, Daniel Smith Ultramarine Blue, Daniel Smith Hansa Yellow, Daniel Smith Burnt sienna, Daniel Smith Red Fuscia.

See it here along with photo of the actual palettes for size. The small orange one is 3 x 6 cm (Less than 1x2 in) and the larger one 6 x 10 cm (Less than 2x5in).
