Description I probably won't do an astounding number of Gym leaders and trainers and stuff QUITE yet, but I felt the need for this guy because there is a story for him.

I present to you Mortimer, the Poison and Steel type Champion of Cajiro's Elite Four. As the Pokemon League is HQ'd in the biggest city of the region, Mortimer also makes his residence there. His team would be as follows:

Skarmory
X-Sce/Volion
Griffador (Who it should be said has Levitate as at least one ability, where if a pokemon has two abilities that are not hidden, both abilities activate. Bronzong is officially without weakness. XD)
Vroobile
Aquabrol
Corrosibe/Macable

So a rotation sort of goes on here where he will either have X-Sce or Volion and Corrosibe/Macable.
As you can see, Ground type moves basically trounce this dude in theory, but the thing is his pokemon have a nasty level spike from the rest of the E4 Not to mention the Skarmory, which is courtesy of Skarlet, who I have yet to art.

Mortimer is one of the richest men on Earth, with a lot of credit owed to the steel industry that Eastern Cajiro was legendary for in the last century. However, environmental implications arose and the tycoon had quietly faded out of the public eye. During his time out of the limelight, he began to take an interest in the collateral damage his fortune had caused-- initially very fond of Steel-types for obvious reasons, he began to conduct personal research on Poison-types that started making their home in the Rust Belt. Though many other types of pokemon had been displaced, it was Mortimer who insisted that the area be closed off and protected for the new denizens. For his interest in this new and hostile habitat, he was suggested to the Pokemon League as someone to compete for the spot of Champion. Even though his poison and steel type team is very limited and has an obvious weakness to ground-type moves, he made shame to the younger man who was also vying for the spot because of the sheer power and thoughtfulness behind his team and move choice. Out of sheer respect for all the man accomplished, the few trainers who have managed to beat him in an official match for Champion have deferred their position back to him. This makes Cajiro unique in that it technically has several champions, and in reality if you beat any of the Champions who deferred their position back to Mortimer you would be a Champion as well. This is another subject that can receive a lot of heat abroad: other regions criticize Cajiro for treating the Champion position as more of an elite club than a job.
Mortimer as far as personalities are concerned is primarily eccentric. He can be cold and businesslike upon first meetings, thanks to years of experience in such encounters, but he remembers people well and if he liked an aspect of your personality he will undoubtedly warm up to you quickly.
Many see him as a grandfather figure and a symbol of success through doing what one loves and hard work.

I may change that mess later, but for now I just want it submitted. XD

He looks great! I love the idea of having a....let's call him veteran, champion. It just makes perfect sense in a way. Good job

Thank you!
I think that basically Alder was pretty close to that, but I wanted a true old guy so I could tie in some sort of crazy retired tycoon thingy. XD

See, I don't think I minded Alder terribly. I just mind the E4 in general because I can't spam it to get all of my Pokes to 100 like I could in Diamond.

I think I'm just not use to him as much as the other champions yet. But yer I know what you mean about the E4. At least there are quite a few areas that you can rebattle strong trainers, but the E4 isn't great for training all pokemon. Only a few.
