Description Squawks, one of Donkey Kong's most thrustworthy animal buddies. He first appears in Donkey Kong Country where he uses his mine lamp to light up the darker caves. In Donkey Kong Country 2 he was a playable character and could shoot eggs from his beak. I based my figurine on the first game, Squawks holding a mine lamp. I attached a very thin fishing wire to Squawks so that I can attach him to the ceiling. Really like him ^^

Made with Special Clay and acrylic paint, about 5cm high.

ah, I remember this guy from the game! ^o^

DK grabbed onto his foot (I think) and flew across the level gathering banana's. <3

squawks may have been one of my favorite buddies...along with the rhino and...a frog??

Well, actually I have a Squitter the spider figurine with a Kiddy Kong on his back waiting to be painted ^^ Maybe I'll paint him one of these days or weeks

Squawks has got to be one of my favorite animal buddies in DKC2 simply because he could fly and shoot eggs (unless it's the purple one). Very awesome sculpture, you've captured his likeliness very well!
