Description Hector is a very nice minotaur. Minotaurs in general aren't man eaters or monsters, but the one of Greek legend really ruined it for all the rest (if only his mother had taught him some manners). Hector is the love child of a youthful fling between a dairy girl and a bovine deity. The romance didn't last, as is usual with such divine relationships, but Hector's mother loved her child very much and made sure he was brought up properly. He was well educated, learned good work ethics, and excellent table manners. After leaving home he traveled the world trying to find his place. For several years he was a very popular luchador in Mexican wrestling, but he tired of the drama of being El Toro MagnΓfico and retired. He then realized his life needed to be spent helping others. Now he spends his days working for various humanitarian causes and as a spokesperson for his mother's organic dairy business.

Hector is my entry for the Plushteam Mythology challenge. I love making one of a kind pieces like this, but I always forget just how many tiny stitches that requires. That being said, I think all those stitches were totally worth it. He is quite handsome and stands about 8" tall from toes to horn tips.

He is beautiful! Let me know if you're considering making another one, or if you're ever tempted to make the sewing pattern. I'd love a little minotaur all my own to cuddle. <3

That's awesome. Wonderful job on the shaping, and such a cute little story to go with it. How big is he?

I was thinking if it were like tiny plushy the detail on his face would have been near impossible, but it if were large that hand stitching would take a century So big enough to work on and admire but small enough to finish is an excellent size

I always felt sorry for the minotaur in the greek myth. It was not his fault... King Minos substituting the white bull that he was supposed to sacrifice to Poseidon with a plain ordinary bull was the sin. HOw did he expect Poseidon not to notice? Very nice plushie moooovelous!~

Yeah, he did get a tough lot, but he did have some terrible parents too. Screwing around with deities never ends well.

Thanks
