Well it's been awhile!I thought I'd upload something to celebrate the NEW scanner I bought! A3 and awesome!!!
Now I won't have to go to kinkos every time I need a page scanned.
Anyways I love Hellboy. Did this in December as a warm up and it got a little out of hand.... I didn't realize until I finished that it kinda resembles Dustins: [link]
I swear it was purely unintentional! Apologies to Mignola and Dustin.
-This was done on cardboard with india ink and prowhite

Thanks!! I had a lot of fun doing this. Its nice to out on a limb and experiment with other mediums sometimes.
The splatter started off as an accident then I kept adding them and smearing them around for more texture

Dunno, this is odd, but I gotta rant a little here to you. Don't take offense okay.
I don't understand it. I look at some of these guys that eat up this genre we're in, but some of these 'hot shots', they fav the simplest drawings, yet I never get favs from them. Nor do they watch me. Yet they fav and watch some simpletons, granted fun stuff, but easy cheesy draws. I mean I know I need work in a lot of ways, but come on... Is there something out there floating against me. Did I do/say something that is floating out there I don't know. ...Just dunno, almost pisses me off. Just have to almost ask, wtf do I have, it's like aids or something, like I'm a lepper with aids.....
Anyway, rant done. J.S.A. He's in that group for sure. I'd say he whoops the shit out of Mignola, Wood, and Jock though. They have their quirks but Jason knows his shit for being an all around artist. I'd say he's totally Kent Williams. He's very inspired by Kent I know, it's obvious. He's up there with Kent and Hale I'd say. But indeed this group of guys, the grit boyz. So inspiring. Glad to see some of that stirring in you man. Prime. Rock your shit mah boy!
