"You'll be in my heart."

Weasley-Detectives had the fabulous idea of making a big Valetine's Day Gift for the awesome Alie Whisperwings ! The idea was to check through Alie's beautiful gallery and find one of her favorite couples, then make an art piece including the couple of your choice. I was ecstatic when I saw that Alie loved Tarzan and Jane! I saw this amazing piece in her gallery and knew exactly who I was going to draw! Plus, this gave me an excuse to watch Tarzan, and I fell in love with this movie all over again. The artwork, animation, 3D, songs, score, and characters are amazing! I would truly put this movie on a level with the Lion King.
I sketched this using yet another screenshot (I has no talent for freehand) as a reference, and listening to the Tarzan OST on YouTube for inspiration. It was epic through earbuds! As aways, I then lined in GIMP (credits) and colored, etc. in Photoshop Elements. I used so many gradients, levels, and texture layers with layer modes added that I can't even tell you how I got the lighting and background down, but I'm pretty heppy with how it came out. The vines in the foreground are too fuzzy, but that's what I get for adding them at the last minute.
Anywho, Alie, I hope you enjoy this Valentine's Day, and that my little present will make your day warmer. If you are single like me, then we can just both pretend we are Jane. There's enough Tarzan to go around, I think.
