Let's see. This took many many many time units to render. Thank goodness I didn't try to do it with more than one colunm because I would have been rendering LONG into the night.

What it is: reflective checkerboard ground, star field sky, one long column of water, and for radial lights inside the column.

Now, it does remind me of those transporter beams on Star Trek so it looks like that's what it gets to be named. I hate it when a name pops into mind that isn't as nice as the picture. Unfortunately, this boring name does work with this lovely picture.

Thanx desi for hint. Even if it did spend a while rendering.
