Hmmm, wait a minute.....

A character who spent a part of their life without freedom.
A character who falls down a tragic path because of their lover.
A character who is influenced to go down this tragic path by an older & wise being with unlimited power.
A character who wants to defy the laws of life to save their lover from Death.
A character who is one of the main reasons an entire group of people with special powers are killed off.
The character straight up killed kids.
When lover finds out of character's dark desires, they choose not to follow them.
A long and epic battle with someone the character had a strong bond with. Which results in someone being burned alive.
An incident with liquid substances permanently change the character's look.
A character who screams Nooooooooooo after learning of a tragic result while things crumbles around them.
The character's own subordinates are scared of them. Do I even have to mention the choking of a lackey from a long distance?
A backstory that divides the fanbase.

Does all of this reminds anyone of anything?

Please note: I'm mostly joking. This is a dumb thought I had & wanted to make a funny pic about it.
I know the writers probably didn't intend to pull an Anakin/Vader on her. Blah blah bla coincidences, blah blah bla difference & blah blah bla other characters in various media with similar story arcs. But being a Star Wars guy, it was naturally the 1st thing my mind went to.
Now, how you feel about this comparison will likely be influenced based on how you feel about the Star Wars Prequels. Yeah, that's a pretty decisive subject.
