Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 + IR remote. GIMP for post editing. ISO noise reduction GIMP plugin used available here: [link] using the luminance channel only blurring setting at 2 pixels and 100% opacity. Playing around with some new style of post editing that involves darkening midtones and lightening shadows for a dark yet faded look. Woops you can see the remote in my left hand

In any case, great "moving" shot. I love how fluid your arms look, bathed in fabric, while your features are so very still. And in my opinion the technique you're trying in this worked out wonderfully.
