Nikon D80 + Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 + IR remote. Bright window lighting from the left, bleeding into the white walls. Decreased highlights. Brightened midtones.

Hey , I was planning on buying a tokina 11-16mm myself , can you tell me if the lens was good ?? what the best feature ?? besides of the extremely wide angle thing

well , to me this shot is beautiful and not macabre. I actually find a lot of warm color in your whites.
I think the response is "if people don't care too bad for them". You should care because you want a world of some particular form. I guess you look for a community of like souls and try to make it in one place first. I have been blessed to live in a reality I enjoy so the apathy of others isn't an issue.
Or alternately , withdraw into yourself and make lots and lots of great photos :>)

You know, you really should try to actually produce an image for this category and also legit images for DA's other categories. I think you will have fun pushing the limits of your skill and creativity.
