Here is my mate doing Poi.Its basicallly things you swing around using your wrists, its cool to watch, especially fire poi, and coming straight from shooting "Turbo" - My camera was setup for long exposures!
So here you are. I know you can't see him but this is his favourite out of the many we took.

there are a handful of programs out there to make them with. Basically you use geometric formulas to create shapes and distort them

it's pretty cool, but unless you get really good at it, it can get boring really fast
