amazing drawing....how do you draw the paper...do you first apply the graphite uniformly and then draw crinkles using eraser?

Yes. That is exactly how I draw the wrinkles in the paper.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply. Your book has been an inspiration to me. I want to attend your art workshop but I am in India and I cant afford coming to USA. Do you have any plans to put video of how to draw wrinkles on paper online?

I like your adaption of it. The skill is wonderful, and I particularly like how you've captured the wrinkles in the paper.

Knowing you, I'm guessing you drew the eraser residue as well.

Yes. The eraser residue is drawn as well. Each with its own highlight and cast shadow. Since I used it to pick out the highlights on the wrinkled paper, I had some REAL eraser residue on the paper so I used it to "model" for me. I knew I was making it look pretty real when I tried to brush one off and it was one that I had drawn instead of a real one. I had fooled myself!

I like the ironic twist. Still blown away by your level of realism.
