Oh my glob, thank you for answering my ask
The whole USA embassy thing has really got onto my nerves. Through the establishments of these embassies, we are subjected into crossfires of USA and it's supposed 'enemies'. And the worst part of it is, the government isn't really doing anything about it. In my honest opinion, the government is so dependent on foreign relations that they just allow them to do anything they want. (And because of this issue, I think we're going to be forced to participate in a going-to-be Korean War, which USA has participated into.)
To Brunei: What a wonderful idea~ :3

Luzon: Embassies are okay, since it promotes good relations with USA.
The military bases are the problem. Like in Japan, I don't know if it's still open but the US had a military base there and the citizens where all opposing its use.
The presence of US military bases in the country is a slap in our national sovereignty. And the government isn't doing anything about it since they actually need their support to keep them in power.

To Luzon: It is a shame that this is one of those issues that the government refuses to tackle. I guess there are issues in the Philippines which are too complex to go into. (It's kind of funny that when the media has exposed the truth of any issue or problem in the Philippines, the government immediately acts on it to give it remedy/solution to rather than the other way around. But that's a very different topic altogether)
To Mindanao: You look so kawaii. Please wear that hairstyle more often

Here's the thing USA, if you make Philippines as your scapegoat and proxy for your battle against either North Korea or China.
I'm going to boycott all your products and held big protest in front of your embassy in Jakarta and Surabaya.
I'm sick of your oh-so-many Military Bases in Asia Pacific.
After all the hard work of ASEAN and East Asia Summit to connect the whole Pacific Asia and recreate the ancient trade network between Asian countries that was destroyed during colonial era, USA came and try to impose their trade monopoly in the name of "liberation". Fun.
Seriosuly USA,
You haven't even apologized for the Clark Military Base rape incidents in the Angeles City!
Philippines are not your play thing! Indonesia people will not stay put and let you do what ever you like to Philippines.
We will help them again, just like we did during the Philippines-USA war.
Please USA, start apologizing to Philippines about the massacre you have done in the US-Philippines war.
Indonesia has apologized to Timor Lorosae for the Santa Cruz massacre, Dutch has apologized to Indonesia for the Rawagede massacre.
When will USA apologize to Philippines for the war crimes and Human Zoo you did to our dear brother and sister in the Philippines!?
What's that? We are not to trust because we're Yellow Peril to you? Because Muslims are majority in Indonesia?
Just so you know our 20 million Christians brother and Sister are Indonesian too. Guess what, we have the tallest Jesus Christ statue in Asia ([link] ; [link] ; [link]
Oh, grow up USA. The only enemy you have to face, IS YOURSELF.
For you guys reading this, I'm not against USA people, I'm against USA Imperialism. I'm 100% with Anak Bayan and JC.

CJ: I'm actually not in Anakbayan anymore.
I was made to quit because of my work in the newspaper because we had to remain non-partisan.o3o
And tbh, I'm pretty sure Indonesia would be dragged into this war too, like against whoever USA is against. Since USA is always smooth talking the ASEAN to their side.

Fortunately the Anakbayan spirit has been imprinted into your soul :iconbighplz: you can never quit being an activist.
Indonesia could be dragged into this because of the US military base in Darwin, Australia =___=
Indonesia gov has complained to the Australia gov about the US military base "attracting" further assault from China but it was turn on deaf ears.
Thus we opted to buy our military equipments from Germany. Never again from USA, especially after the Timor Lorosae invasion!!
It puzzled me why Australia keep on insisting sticking with USA even though there's no benefit coming for Australia himself.
He has sacrificed his people for USA military cause, his funds, accepting refugees from the war USA started, and yet still sticking to USA.

I'm with you one the first part Bro!
My lecturer in Introduction of Global Politics said that US, Aussie and NZ have something called ANZUS Treaty. Basically if one got attacked, the two other countries will deploy troops to help. Here's the issue. During Bali Bombing, 88 Australians died and US didn't do anything. When Iraq War starts, US used ANZUS to 'convince' Aussie to send their troops to Iraq. We were like 'what?!' It's not even Aussie's war and now you have him helping US to fight the war US caused for years now!
Sorry, I need to let that out of my chest
And Belait... Good job

JCpilipinas In reply to misschocoholic [2013-04-08 04:03:51 +0000 UTC]
Luzon: Well, it's just like the VFA of US with the Philippines...the US is just using it to intensify military presence in the Asia-Pacific area to 1. provoke communist countries into war; 2. to use countries as pawns to disperse the attack
and this Military presence has caused nothing good on our side. For one, the Tubbataha incident were a US warship damaged the Tubbataha reef in Mindanao.

Not to mention USA was issuing the ANZUS treaty help from Australia to help "invade" Iraq and Afghanistan?
Huh? Was USA under Iraw invasion or something? =___=
Poor Australia now has to receive hundreds of Afghanistan and Iraq refugees because of the war USA started.
Good thing New Zealand is out of ANZUS treaty. We love you NZ!!

That's the point
USA pressed Aussie to help his war with the Iraqis while it's clear that USA started it. At the same time USA never give help to Aussie when there's Bali Bombing
See the problem here?

Where's the solidarity from USA when Australia and Indonesia are under terrorist bombings?!
USA was all talk when he claimed that he's against terrorism, never give us a helping hand.
In fact USA oh-so-graciously issued a travel black-list to Indonesia because of the bombings. Gee, thanks a lot USA! Not to mention USA immigration deport any Indonesian citizens regardless of the legality of their stay or regardless of their religion because USA was discriminate to Muslim majority countries. Read in Elizabeth Gilbert's "Eat, Pray, Love" how her Christian Indonesian friend was deported and separated from his American wife because he's an Indonesia. Great thing President Megawati issued a restriction stay for only one month to any USA citizen who some to Indonesia.
Great thing Australia overcome this prejudice and work hand in hand with Indonesia's DENSUS 88 and captured the terrorists responsible for the bombings of Bali and Australia embassy.
Both Indonesia and Australia work hard to mend the relationship of both countries up until today.
And then USA just come and build a fucking USA military base in Darwin-Australia, in Yolngu's water nonetheless! Don't they have any respect to Aboriginal Australia's water territorial rights?! No wonder, PSY says bad things about you.

Yes!
During out discussion I said to my teacher. "America is weird. They said they will wage war to all Moslem countries. Then why didn't they attacked Malaysia and Indonesia (we have the biggest Moslem population)? Heck, they didn't even know we EXISTED and I'm sure the majority of all Americans don't know which one Arabic or not"
I understand if other countries WARN its people to come to Indonesia during bombings but isn't black list a bit too much? I feel great sympathy to her Indonesian friend when I read the book...
PSY gangnam style?
Also USA keep pressing us to deal with the cases happened during 1998 (I forgot which one). Dude, 15 years has passed and you still accuse us of human rights violation. What about Baghdad and all those people suffers due to war in the middle east? There are many cases of US soldier do bad things that can be classifies as human right violation

simple, USA is racist to Middle Eastern and South Asia descent. heck, they cant even differentiate which one is Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Zoroastrian and Jains. All Middle Eastern, South Asian, people wearing turban, hijab = Muslim = terrorist.
it is racism. again. sigh..
yes, the PSY Ganggnam style.
because anyone against USA will be labeled enemy of justice. no wonder many Iraq people take refugee in Australia.
