Actually I like Sania too, but her and Tania have even less characterization than Rie and the Gold Delmo leader.

Rie is a cutie...although after Aika defeats the entire Gold Delmo Squad and the Commander dismisses the Delmogency Corps, we never do find out what happens to her or the others.

And yes, her childlike demeanor really did add a lot - I think that so many people forget about some of the good animation and characters the Agent Aika anime has because they get lost in the excessive panty shot angles.

I looked for pictures about Tania and Sania, but sadly, didn’t found anything… could you remind me who they were in the Aika Agent adventures?

About your comments: We never will know what happened to the Delmo Corps because they were characters in an OVA. We only have the final scene where they are still near Aika, but sadly we seem to be doomed to ignorance, because the next OVAs produced were prequels

Yes, Rie had childlike demeanor, but she used it to obfuscate her opponents: The scene that sold the character for me was to see she could kick as fast and effective as a film about Aika: She was her equal…

And about the excessive panty shot angles… Man, I don’t want to sound like a puritan or something, but when I saw the OVAs for the first time, I felt dizzy about all those panty shot, really! One or two or maybe twenty is ok, but more than fifty?

Tania and Sania were the other two Gold Delmos, Tania being the one with Gray hair and the Claws, and Sania with the Grenade Gun and the long brown hair and shifty eyes.

I really liked in the Delmo corps where most of the Blacks and the Pinks were really just fit and trim girls that needed a job and they weren't sinister. Heck, even some of the higher ranking White Delmos didn't seem that mean.

Rie had tons of potential yes. And even with her rage against Aika, for a split second she almost gets talked down by her when arming the huge gun against their aircraft.

I think that the creators deserve a pat on the back for creating so many inventive positions during sequences to show a gals' panties. But yeah, it's A LOT

I don't think so, as this was essentially a doodle during a long conference call @ work.

But I will color my other Rie work, although if you are not a DiD fan perhaps it is not your cup of tea...

It's the abbreviated term for

"Damsel in Distress"

which is the specific kind of art I do, with very few exceptions. This quick doodle is one of those exceptions.

I think you are thinking of Maypia Alexymetalia, the spy the originally looks like a suspicious Black Delmo. Rie is the youngest of the Gold Delmos, who gather data (rather personally I might add) on Aika and then makes the usual futile attempt to fight her.

Thx for the props though...this was just like a <5 minute doodle.
