So yeah if you haven't guessed it, the lines spoken just now, in the title, and in the drawing itself come right from the first episode of Kirby: Right Back at Ya! Albeit with some edits considering that instead of an octopus monster, it's a human-like octopus girl. The monster had been eating entire flocks of sheep in that episode but here, I highly doubt that (though she seems to have a fondness for lamb chops...). And as for what she's wearing, yes that's the Mike Copy Ability headphones; the shirt is like a different version of the Octo Layered LS, with Dedede's symbol instead. Scaling the characters felt a little weird to me though; I tried to make it so they're around the same height, but Dedede still looks a little bulkier to me than he actually is... Ah well, either way, it's been too long since I've made a picture with this guy, so it's good to draw the king of Dream Land once more!

And no the Octoling is not some new character for Super Mario JBX; this is merely a one-time joke (even though I went to the trouble of making a unique design instead of just throwing her in Octoling Armor or that getup Agent 8 wears...). It's cheesy and requires you've watched the Kirby anime to understand it, but hey, if anyone's watched at least ONE episode, it was probably the first one...! Hope you guys like this!

10/3/2018 Edit: Remember when I said this Octoling gal wasn't going t be a character? Welp, had a change of heart quite a few months back actually but forgot to put this edit in. Most of you veteran watchers probably know her now as Princess Takoyaki , and yes, the joke has outright turned into a part of my headcanon for Super Mario JBX...! Crazy, huh?
