Anyways, I've been in a bit of a drought when it comes to drawing haven't I? But finally, I've found some time to make more art! I haven't been able to work on the Mario 30th Anniversary picture I talked about before, so while I'm finishing that up, here's another preview at what's going to be in it: the Mini Mario Toy from the Mario vs. Donkey Kong sub-series! While in the first game you played as Mario, later games in the series had you controlling these guys in a sort of puzzle-platformer hybrid style of game play. To be honest, I have yet to play these games, but I'm willing to give 'em a shot! As for the toys themselves, I guess you could say they're adorable... In the first game that reason alone is why Donkey Kong stole all the toys for himself! They were created by Mario, and he has them produced in a building called the Mario Toy Company. Gosh dang it, Mario; how do you balance being a hero alongside plumbing, being a doctor, AND running a company (not to mention being good at almost every sport)?! Not complaining though, that's part of what makes Mario so cool! Like always, I hope you guys like this picture!

It always kind of bugged me why Mini Marios, Mini Peaches, Mini DKs and Mini Paulines existed...and Mini Luigis only came along in the latest game. Although I kind of imagined Mario would want his brother's toy to be 'perfect', so he created those first to test.
That aside, I like how the Mini Mario looks in your art! You nailed the toy aspect pretty well.

The Mini Mario Toys are evidently the one thing DK loves more than bananas! He practically switched from a channel going "Mmmmm... Bananas..." to watch the commercial for them!
Yeah, I do find it weird that they just now added Mini Luigis to the toy line, but you raise a good point about Mario wanting his brother's toy to work better than the others!
