Very very accurate, especially for your first attempt.

Well, it's definitely not my first attempt at drawing the Simpsons, but it was the first time I utilized the methods put forth in the book.

Wish I had a local retailer ordering it. I myself have always been troubled by the Design of them. Bra-Voo.

I've had that book for about eight years and I've hardly used it. >_< After seeing this, though, I think I'll dig it up again and have another crack at it.
Great work, J.B. You would make a great freelance artist someday.

How could you have had it for eight years? I thought it just came out a few weeks ago.

He must be talking about the how to draw the Simpsons book that was released back in 1993.

Wow. Those look official, they're so on-model. Me I could never do the Simpson style. Oh crap, it's on right now.

If you have trouble with the Simpsons style, you should buy the book - I've only had it for two days and already it's been hugely beneficial to my work.

I still have a copy of The Big Book of Hell, a collection of Life In Hell comics that Groening did before he made the sale of The Simpsons to Fox amongst my collection of reprints of 1930s Action Comics and Detective Comics in hardcover, etc.
That aside, it's a very nice collection of Homer Simpson sketches. Admittedly, I stopped watching after Season Two, but...

Season 2? Man, you missed out on some great episodes between Seasons 3 and 8 (admittedly, Seasons 9 through 18 had far fewer classic episodes).

Fantastic I would have to say. If it's not over-stated you really could be an animator.

Well, to be honest, Matt Groening's drawing style is no better than what you see in the Tracey Ullman shorts and the "Life In Hell" comic strip. It's the show's animators that cleaned up his style into something that works well in motion.
