what technique do you use to the background?

that's just a piece of scrapbook paper, 2 actually, one flat on the table, the 2nd tapped under the 1st and bend back, usually just taped to a book of box. I used 2 diff colors and it surprisingly gave it a sunset gradient look.

and you use natural llighting?

I have a strobe i bring home from the studio after xmas just for these table top shots. but if you don't have that, you can get away by doing it outside in indirect light or even aΒ window.

its funny that so many people have such fond memories of this part of the movie, and I've haven't even seen the movie, just knew the reference haha. but glad people dig it. i had a lil spray can for him but this one looked better.

Thanks man. I was actually thrilled when I looked and saw no one ever did anything like this before and I got to be the 1st. I usually have an idea and by the time i get around to it a few other people already beat me to it. Thank god for spoilers now, so i have a few months to work on things coming out next year. I had a bigger different setup, but liked the minimalist look more. Thought the gradient was enough. I thought about the black suit too, I wish they had the '66 minifig just for this.

Yeah it would be nice to have a cowl that is more subdued. I was gonna try and take it over actual water at a lake. We'll see how it goes.

You could make something like one, something looking like a LEGO fire extinguisher but different colors. That LEGO has used before to make spray cans and such in the LEGO world.

hahahaha really? he said something like that!? I'm a huge Batman fan, but never liked the '66 show, i was at the store today N say a $6 lego set with a shark, and this popped into my head haha. I'll have to find some good quote to add now, thanks!
