Yes,, I was living/working in LA area and the carpool were on the I10 east when we saw this blurrrrrr go by west bound.. It came across the traffic station that there was a man on a motor cycle outrunning the CHP helicopter.. This was 08/76.. "WE'uns had to pull over because we started laughing so hard,,, we all had Suzies (1)750's & (2)1100rd's and (1) with a 1280 kit in it.. What's funny about this is we were talking about in the shop the next day and another co-worker came in and said,, "Did "U" hear? I made the traffic report yesterday!" We answered,,, "yes". I ask what the speedo read.. He didn't know,,,,, it was pegged.. Well I told him that the helicopter that was chasing you had a top,,,,,, (with the doors on),, 175mph.. It's still funny.. Oh,, I forgot,, the helo was Frances Aerospecial Gazeteer..
