Awww, but it's so PRETTY. I know the snow gets irritating after a while, but...well, a little cold would be nice. We can wear shorts outside at christmas most years.

Oh, it's beautiful, I will admit, especially before Christmas, but when it's blizzarding (which is half of the time) and it turns into nasty, dirty slush (which is the other half of the time), and when I have to walk in it (all of the time)...well, it got old after about two semesters. The extreme cold is painful, too (not kidding—it makes my face hurt, not to mention when I slip on the ice). Snow is fun if you visit it on a vacation just to play and have fun in it, but living in it is a horse of a different color, especially if you're too busy to even play in it. :^(

Sorry about the rant, LoL, and don't let me be a discouragement. I've a friend who served a mission in Canada for two years (outside a LOT more often than I am) and he misses the snow and cold like crazy. It's all just personal preference. :^)

Really? Oh, no, I totally agree with you. I'd always rather be a little too hot than a little too cold. Actually, it's crazy that I came back to this message, because it actually snowed today! Which happens, like, once a year, MAYBE. It wasn't cold enough to stick, but for about an hour we could see it flurrying around outside. : )
Aaand, thats about all the snow I need.

Awww, thanks! And yeah, Texas weather is AWESOME, in a horrifying way. But it's always exciting.
