So I'm as much of a sucker for an angsty Rose/TenII story as the next person, but really, I think there are fairly good odds it went more like this.What's the problem, Rose? Too DOMESTIC for you?
Too crappy for me to finish, but it's been sitting in my sketchbook for way too long, and I like it enough to post it.

Something that's very accepting of eccentrics. I can imagine him failing fantastically at a lot more jobs than I can manage him being successful at. Mostly I imagine him getting bored and wandering off and getting fired without really caring much.

I can see him getting a job eventually, but it's like when you lose your job or change jobs, you're all "oh no i better go find something else to do!" but a larger, less mature part of you is like "OMG, free vacation for AS LONG AS I WANT."

Its funny, I'm not actually sold on the idea of TenII getting to grow a fully functional TARDIS. In some ways I think it was just really time for him to finally get away from that life, like he'd been fighting it for too long.
But then I'm like, Baby TARDIS is too funny and adorable not to include in everything!
