My god I don't think I've ever spent so long drawing a shirt.My hand is killing me. I wanted to try a little more realism so it was about 3 hrs on the shirt, 5 to finish the rest of him then another hour of trying to fix everything I wasn't happy with.
In the end I stopped, not because I was happy with everything, but because I physically couldn't go on... and I hate leaving portraits and coming back to them.

i would imagine it took 6 hours. that photo is sooo dark its frustrating. the patience you have is frigging astonishing.

Yup. That coupled with the plaid shirt and the fact that I was doing a blue tone rather than black and kept mucking up the colour... XD I'm such a spazz.
