Description
A female Kananikan racer, using the term "female" loosely, since it only replies to their appearance.The Kananikans were created by an ancient spacegoing race, the Nek'Ranins, and were discovered by the Venrocks after a "dead" Nek'Ranin ship crashed into one of their orbital prisons. The crash killed off an entire wing of prisoners, and even though the crew of the ship was long dead, the ship survived intact.
The Kananikan were used by the Nek'Ranin as entertainment, being incredibly fast and agile, and very cheap and easy to manufacture. They were grown into the machinery that propells them, and are integrated with high speed sensory implants for faster reflexes and responses. Due to their construction, a Kananikan can only live for a macimum of one year, and even then, their fragile build makes the races a dangerous place.

Woah, REALLY nice character desing. I'm just wondering what the gadgets are on her arms and butt.. I like how there are actually exhaust pips from the wheel.. Wow.. Lovely detail, even if the writing on her and all.
Again, you've cooked up a backstory, and I'm still loving your different ones.

hehehe, she kinda reminds me of those dudes with wheels on their hands and knees in that old sequal to Wizard of Oz, Return to Oz. Niceness man.

hmm..it wasn't a book, I think. I saw it as a movie. Dorothy was institutionalized in an insane asylum when she mentioned to people bout Oz. One night, she broke out and she returned to Oz. But everything was completly wrong now. One of the enemies in there are these guys who had wheels on their arms and legs. Really freaky lookin.

I likes it. She looks really sleek the way you designed her. Nice curves as always. Excellent work as always. Too bad about all the bugs hitting her in the face at those speeds. But then again, she'd probably just eat them.

Well, they'd be racing on a closed circuit, so there would be no bugs to eat.
But they'd have to be ever wary of the other racers, some of them could be pretty aggressive, and at 150+ mph, a whipeout usually meant death most foul.

When midden got hold of the few survivors, they began to experiment with them, and found that they could lenghten their lifespan, and that they had much more potential as things other than just racers. They can be used as military couriers or scouts, and since they have very fast reflexes, they have tons of other uses and applications too.
