Experimenting with shading styles, palettes, and those damn wing folds.In the same group as that nomad dragon sprite of mine, too big for DC and probably going to be used for my own purposes eventually.

A lovely little sprite you've made there :'-) I like the stance and the way you made the muscles, but there's a few things that you should be aware of;
Shading: You always need a light source. Actually, you can't shade without one. The light has to come from somewhere! :'-) Also, the right leg and wing doesn't have any shading at all? Even what's not in focus needs shading. And remember that objects cast shadows on eachother, depending on where the light source is!
Texture: It's always fun practicing with textures! And I know of my own expirience, that sometimes... it doesn't really come out how it should have ;'-) I think that's the case with your wings :'-) The curls and swirls looks very good! And it would be wonderful for some kind of fabric, but for a dragons wing, it's not very fitting. Try to look at how other artists make wings for their dragons, and get inspired! Practicing and expirimenting is what makes proffesional, isn't it? :'-) So keep it up!

Wonderful sprite! I luuurve the shading and muscles. <3 You've always been amazing in those two things. But, as with any critique, there are some points I must mention. :3
While I really like the shading on the wings (and the web) its wing finger anatomy could use some lovin'. Right now, they're bendy - way curved when bones don't do that. Fix that, and the wings will be pwnful. C:
The other thing I had in mind was the... er... unshaded hind leg. xD While I like it, it needs to have at least a little shading.
Oh, one more thing - does it have an outline? O.o If it does, it needs to be darker. On the lighter parts, I can't see it! xD
