As a side note, not all folks of Chinese decent look as "obviously" Chinese anyway, and Jubilee's visible Chinese attributes fluctuate somewhat between portrayals. Additionally, the model's facial expression in this picture makes it (intentionally?) difficult to determine how much/little of her facial structure matches what Jubilee should actually look like, and the focus of the thing is on the overall image, outfit, and effects; not her race.

It is actually save to say there is no whitewashing since the model Bea Benedicto is a Filipino which may be of Chinese descent.

now i must say it is great. however Am i correct in guessing that this is jubilation lee 1.0 where you tie her hands together and she is powerless? as juggernaut in the 90's cartoon put it baby cuddles

Well, she lost her sparkler powers and is now a vampire. There was an arc that featured her, X-23, and Wolverine a few years ago, but that's the most recent I remember.

No no, there's been no reboot in Marvel (that's DC's thing). X-Men Vol 3 came to an end and they started a new volume which debuted on May 29 with a great comic featuring Mohawked Storm (FTW!) Brawlish Rogue (Yay! She flies and has super strength!)Rachel being bossy, Psylocke (grab yourself) actually dressed with more than a thongkini, Kitty being Kitty and Jubilee, who stole a baby (well, no she swears Storm she didn't steal it.)
Give it a try! It was the best X-Men read I've had in YEARS.

Not miniseries, it's happening now, in the Marvel NOW new line. You can always get it online, it's cheaper
