The Story:
Kurumi Momose of “Pani Poni Dash!” with Tennessee Titans home powder blue #8 as requested by spiralmaestro

0.7mm Pencil, Paint Tool SAI, Photoshop CS6

My Breakdown:
I am not very familiar with this character, so the provided references were much appreciated. I’ve been looking for model poses to fit the character, and for something new to try, but I ended up deciding against that and going with a simpler pose which I thought would work better.

I haven’t had many opportunities to do this one (but they are coming), with that said, I happen to like the design of this one. The second color along the sleeves seems to work here, and the number font is unique to this uniform.

The background is nothing spectacular, but it is a design that I really like. The design of the outer portion was taken from an old basketball card, the inner portion was a random design I played with that I ended up liking a lot. Team colors were added as well as the character’s face to fill space.

What I Like Most:
Sometimes the easy road is the best road…I went with an easy pose, and I couldn’t be more proud of that decision and the way it came out.

What I Dislike Most:
I seem to be falling into a trap with having a “perfectionist” mentality…I demand the best effort out of myself, but at times I allow this to slow progress to a crawl because something looks slightly off. I believe the only way for me to correct this is to try to ignore the all the minor flaws that I see.

Final Thoughts:
Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised with how well this came out. I continue to struggle with having everything be “perfect”
