[Update: uhh... Gin's face was bothering me alot and i realized his head fits a lot better as profile. But while taking a picture, I noticed the sunset lighting and decided to have fun with the camera.. i like how this turned out more~]
I realized that these protagonists are pretty similar when it comes to appearance but have pretty different circumstances, so I wanted to draw them together.
I haven't drawn traditionally in soo long -so scare- and tracing the pattern from origami paper with the window made my arms sore orz
Sorry for wierd quality... this was taken with a camera orz
If you haven't read any works by Yuki Midorikawa, do it! .. ;u; it's soo moving~

Alot of her works, and especially Nastume, just has this traditional, summery atmosphere that I love~
The patterns in the paper really brought out these feelings as well~ at least for me

they're small cuts of origami paper that you can easily buy online~ I'm honestly not sure when I got those because they've been sitting on my shelf for some time and I've been wanting to scan them, but my scanner had broken a while back so I never got the chance.
