I felt like drawing Iron Man...so I did. I used the STEVE MCNIVEN and MICHAEL TURNER cover arts (from Marvel's Civil War) for reference material. So, this iron man is kind of a cross between the way each of them drew him. Do not critique on what I got wrong with the armor, 'cause I don't care. I just wanted it to look cool. This pic was drawn with a regular mechanical pencil and inked with a very thin marker, 'cause I don't have my microns with me.EDIT: If anyone would like to take a shot at coloring this, be my guest. Just be sure to send me a note telling me that you are coloring, or did color, it. I would also like to receive a link to the finished work via note, and of course give me credit for the lineart in your description.

I am kinda doing the same thing, this armor isn't an easy thing to get right.... but it's fun trying=] mine should be done by the end of the evening, check it out if you get a chance.....

Cool you did well, I know Iron Man can be quite hard to draw from personal experiance. I like the pose aswell

Thank you. While I enjoyed making this pic., I totally agree with you about how hard it is draw Iron Man, especially since he has had so many different suits. I didn't know which one I wanted to draw. Plus, drawing Iron Man requires a lot of reference material. I probably won't even attempt to draw him again for a long time.
