An image done for Cooper of her dragoness character by the name of Raevin. Toyed with and added some detail to clothing and the like, but kept the the general tribal feel. Sexy but deadly is the look.Pencil and techpen on typing paper

I know you keep saying to people that some things just need to remain uncolored (and I totally agree), but it's funny that nobody actually asked to color it themselves. I, for one, would die for an opportunity like that. But I respect that you want it to stay untouched, so great job, and I can't wait to see what other great stuff you'll come up with!

I like your overall design^_^ There is some fluidity in the lines and the character feels somewhat alive...
As for coloring,I agree with the fact of how people overlook the lineart of an artist. In that regard, I respect you and love your art even more^_^

question. do you ever get annoyed with people asking you to color things when you clearly express that you won't.
anyways, your lineart drives me crazy. i really don't see how you can fit in so much detail on one piece of paper, and with pencils. especially with small things like strings and ties. it's really amazing to me. also you always seem to have the perfect anatomy down without having some features too over exaggerated. lovely stuff ^^

Haha. I wouldn't say I get annoyed, it can perplex me sometimes perhaps? I didn't mention it in the description of this one, though, so my bad. I just have a heavy appreciation of black and white being expressive as much as colour, that's all.

MM. I don't like everything to be in colour, that tends to be how people forget good lineart and hide everything behind a colour job. I like a balance of both.

Yeah, I have a tendency to do lineart and make mistakes and end up thinking 'i can fix that in PS' but the piece would have looked alot better if i just sorted it out right from the pencil stage. With Colouring on the comp i always go by the simple rubbish in rubbish out policy, which helps when i ask myself 'am i ready to colour this' and 'is this the best it can be'. I don't ink my work like i used to cause i find i get a cleaner lines if i don't. But then i see your work with the graphic techpens an i wonder if i'm just crap at inking an i should go back an practice more. Anyway thats enough of my ranting
