lol, haven't submitted anything in a while and I just finished finals for the semester!:>Also, I can't seem to do contrasting very well.XD
Everything I do looks pasty until I throw down a texture and some adjustments. Like my buddy *Khaiya tells me, I should learn how to color this way without having to adjust it at all.:'D
Time and practice I guess? I'm still going at it strong though.C:

you don't need to work with high contrast to get pretty pictures D:

Time will get you there :c you could always try setting up a high-contrast colour pallete before you begin painting, and then begin painting with a solid-opacity brush to try and get your values more formed in the initial stages
