These attacks all take place in S after the Holy Grail goes to Tempestmoon's possession. Lien gets a smaller version, called the Hope Chalice.

Lien Yaten's secret, forbidden (at least at the time) attack as Chibimoon in the later part of S, called "Lovers Sonata", calls upon the combined power of her parent's pillars - as the symbol she summons shows - it is a combination of her parent's angelic/godly runes.

Why this attack is forbidden in the past for a while is because of Saliya's state - in halves, living as Sailor Starhealer (one inverse, one universe) - neither knowing their true power.

To call on this attack, you essentially have two voices that aren't always in the same key, and one that's trying to harmonize with both. The two voices not always in the same key represent the Starhealers - they don't necessarily clash all the time, but they don't always mesh properly either. The third voice is Rhiannon's - favoring neither but keeping harmony with both - despite the dreadful tearing effect you can imagine that would have.

As such, the attack is completely unstable - who knows what effects it could have. Calling on the power and sacred true name of a pillar who isn't in phase with themselves - basically rendered schizophrenic - is just begging for trouble. But this is Lien - she loves and believes in her parents, and believes that one will always save the other. This belief in their love, and their love itself, is what gives this attack its sheer power - power enough to allow a 10 year old to temporarily rival a pillar!

You can imagine the effects on the poor thing casting it though...
