Just trying to keep pushing the rendering of my character designs. An elf looking character whose been infected by a virus that's taking over his forest home. Ahhh he must save the forest!Related content

Hello , i was looking through your gallery( great stuf) my favourite was a contest entry for ryze. You are better than drawing than me and it is only my personal opinion, but i think there is a problem with the infected hand. I am a bit confused , i dont know if it was intended to be that way , but the join seems a bit to stiff and the whole hand comes to much into the front, maybe if you made it slitly smaller and did something with the shading it might look better. The wrist is way too much bent too , but i am 99.9% sure that that was from artistic freedom. Just my opinion but it might look better if you made shorter the space between the wrist and the joint and 'fix' the wrist.Or maybe the whole black hand might be showed as a light ( grey?) shade, implaing the weird infection throught the form to ad a bit of mystery and grim atmosphere. Just saying , i cant compare our drawing, i am just giving you some ideas, it looks great either way.Sorry for the big message ,happy new year and have a good day.

Very nice textures and good work! Unless he be a trippin gangsta, i don't think his pants should be so low, also I'd makes sure to paint the cloth/armour with different texture to the skin so we can tell where one starts and another ends. REALLY like the skin work.

Thanks! It's always a constant battle to find the right balance and combination of textures. Maybe I'll give him some serious elven jewelry to sell the trippin gangsta idea better haha.
