Description Done for the Magic the Gathering Commander 2014. This one was done a while ago, but I'm glad to see it finally out! The card is actually pretty decent too.

Very epic with all the details. Kind of a pity this is on a card, since the details you put in make it hard to appreciate when they're in itty-bitty scale. The dogs underfoot is a nice, added touch. Its the type of details you didn't need to add, but the fact that you did makes for a multi-leveled scene.

Oh my, imagen that running towards you in battle!! I don't think a shield is going to cover a charging beast like that. What an epic creature.. It looks very fast for it's size, you'd expect something the size of an mutated elephant to be sluggish, but you can see that it's not! Dramatic light as well

The temptation to make the creature huge and rounded like a giant tank was certainly there, but that has been done plenty of times before, and done on Magic cards, and done REALLY well, so I wanted to try something different, that still looked like it would bulldoze a shield wall into tiny chunky pieces. The Behemoth's main function in the game is to trample the enemies defenses and allow its allies to come in behind it. Which is why I put in the subtle background characters charging in behind the main creature.

And that is exactly what you displayed in this image, bravo! Quite impressive, displaying the agility and quick motion of such a great beast in a stationary image. It looks unwavering without looking sluggish, i can just picture it trashing forwards through a shield wall in my mind! 10/10 would definitely ride into battle!

What's the CR for that monster?

Its a magic card, so its hard to say. But it's a power 7 creature, which just rolls over defenses, so it would probably be somewhere in the 12-15 range.
