Orktober, I love me my orks, and i wanted to try to do a “artpeice for everyday” type challenge. Each day will have a new ork artpeice with some lore for ideas i’ve had for ork units.

Orktober 24th - KRASHA TANK

Outside of the forgeworld super heavy tanks, and the looted wagon (that never had an official model), there is a tragic lack of dedicated ork tanks. So I thought I would draw some.

What might be considered an ork “main battle tank”, this machine is strangely balanced. It has heavy armor, a decent speed, and heavy firepower. There are four big shootas over the frame, with a Rattler kannon for the coaxial weapon. Its main gun is a kill kannon, or twin linked big zappas, or a kustom mega kannon. The Krasha Tank lives up to its name with reinforced armor in the front to allow the tank to trample over infantry or collide with enemy vehicles, and when this happens the tank commander often can have a power klaw to add to the mayhem. It's filled with ork nobs who have all previously been in ork light tanks, earning their right to be in the krasha tank.
