with 25mm APDS-T rifles and belt fed 50cals, USA Army jacklope mark 2 scout tactical mechs take out both infantry and mech targets. they have to lay down smoke in order to help their subsequent repositioning. they are accompanied by some gump (exo leg) soldiers who clear nearby buildings. with advanced shoulder mounted sensors they can easily see through their own smoke while tagging vehicles and structures for artillery strikes.

like everything in the wars of 2060, these American mech forces fight in the urban sprawls of the 3rd world colonies. mechs can easily pass the common tank traps and can even use many vehicles and buildings as cover. they bring weapons capable of taking out infantry inside buildings and rip apart other light vehicles. they are supported by a network of infantry, where IFVs act as command centers. while all this happens great tank battles are fought outside the city limits on open ground.

the jackalope mark 2 is an upgraded version that help keep the american mech forces on the technological top of tactical mech arms race.
