Description
This is a picture of Marvel Comics character Gambit.I made this for penciljack.coms PUMMEL competition.
I picked the topic of Marvel comics characters. I was having a difficult time choosing who or what to draw when suggested Gambit.
I have been reading some Street Fighter II turbo and extreme close ups was itching at me. I never could get that to work well for me, but I wanted to risk it.
I wish I could have added more characters to interact with him but I was short on time.

Thank you so much for the great comments! I won't tell you I am not, but I still have a long way to go. I work way too slow, and not often enough. Art is a struggle. I never get what I see in my head. My art (no matter what it is) makes it's self almost. It gestates and is birthed out of my mind O_O...

Remy is Cajun. Cajuns are an ethnic group mainly living in the U.S. state of Louisiana, consisting of the descendants of Acadian exiles (French-speakers from Acadia in what are now the Canadian Maritimes). Today, the Cajuns make up a significant portion of south Louisiana's population, and have exerted an enormous impact on the state's culture.

thanks for the information bro.it's interesting to see how how characters histories are solidly built in marvel. i don't know a lot on marvel characters , although i love so many...like venom , cable , carnage , remy the cajun( thanks to u i know that name ) and my fav is deadpool , i'm enjoying playin him in MVC3 "shoryuken !!! "lol. btw do u play that game ? i heard i rumor about a sequel called ultimate MVC3...

I have Marvel VS Capcom 3, and it is a lot of fun. It is diffrent from other fighting games, but I learned how to play it in a short amount of time.
I am still learning how to play the game like an expert. Expert players are too good. Not even fun to play with them. You have no chance of winning.
I hope the new game is just an add on like Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition.

i have i great news for ya buddy , hope i'm not too late though. ultimate MVC3 is now official.in the program we have 8 new stages , 12 new characters. there's ghost rider , hawkeye ( i dunno him ),red armer ( from ghost and goblin) and finally strider ( thanks so much capcom).and also the game is gonna be refixed with new moves, buff and nerf for characters, i really hope they nerfe phoenix and wolvie...these two have boss strengh.
btw who do u main ? aside of deadpool xd

i'm surprised u don't play deadpool , u have some solid chracters ...hummm but u play chracters i hate lol, wolvie and taskmaster ( i heard he's gonne be buffed in mvc3), they can just kill with one combo , specially wolvie. at least u don't play dante and phoenix.
btw.
i only play deadpool, trish and arthur( hope they really buff him , of nt i'll drop him)...but i can't wait to play vergil , nemesis and firebrand in umvc3
