Love the warm colors and the composition of this. Adding it's master gives it a great sense of scale too.

Thanks buddy! This one was quite frustrating at times and i was very indecisive. But in the end I finished it and ready to move on. Alot of things could be fixed...maybe one day

the detail in this is amazing- but i can imagine that it was nail-biting to get it to this level.i also tend to "over detail" my paintings, getting tired of painting details that the viewer probably only looks at for an millisecond-if they look at it at all.the trick would be to use detailed textures mostly on the focus area- and let the rest "fade out"- if you know what i mean. scott purdy is really good in this for example.using light and shadow to "fade" stuff and let it merge with the shadow/light..."shape-wielding" and all that blues...

Yeah exactly. I am gonna try to give myself deadlines. That way I dont spend way too long on something that I am not fully happy with in the end. I get to anxious to start detailing I forget about the good initial sketch. I just have to have patience

I love the warm colours! It reminds me of The Lord of the Ring when Gandalf confronts the devil in the cave in the first episode. The beast looks rather impressing. Wonder what sombre plan his Master is plotting

Aww thanks man. Theres so many entries and great artists....my odds aren't that good. But doesn't hurt to try and I loved the topic of course. If you think you found the hog I am sure you did. You can see his nose and eyes faintly, and a few quills lol. Very tough to hide him in this one. Poor guy is probably roasting

Yeah hes very very tiny in this one. I couldnt make him bigger than the Sorcerer...so made it very tough to hide him in there and still see him. Glad you like
