Description 2 layer stencil on plywood
30cm x 46cm

I really like using timer grain as a background, so i started
playing round with the idea of darkening the wood grain with each layer. so after a few small test i found that clear gloss will make the timber darker, so i made this stencil to test this out on. the only problem is the varnish does not darken with more layers. so I'm still working that problem out

the first layer painted with a varnish,
and the second layer black
quite happy with the result

I have featured this deviation in my journal as a thumbnail because I like it and want my watchers to see it.

If you object to your work being displayed in this manor - I have every respect for you and will remove it as soon as I receive a note from you asking me to remove it.

Keep up the really great work.
