This is a great artwork!! From a great TV show!
In terms of realism, I don't know what I'm talking about but 2 small pointers would be: put enough of the background in that it is clear it is an army tent, or enough detail to make the tent clear, and also, on the signs, the fade on Toledo is the right idea, they shouldn't all be the same black.

Finally a true artist with some common sense...lol. M*A*S*H is by far the best running series ever!...uh besides Doctor Who that is...lol. As far as realism goes...that is what I continue to strive for. The only piece of advice I can give is this...pay attention to detail in every millimeter of the work. Yes it's tedious but you gotta do it to achieve the realism. Anatomy and facial detail can only be achieved if you study the reference in each sector of your artistry. Then pull back and consider the lighting. Notice in the reference how the light affects the subject. Also notice the color reflectivity of the objects in the background and how they affect the subject in the foreground. But what do I know....? I'm still an amateur artist.
