New technique.Stephanie and Sportacus from Lazy Town. (Not nessesarily romantic. Take it as you will)

I'm amazed that I haven't come across your work before. This is very well done. I love the stars and clouds in the background.
That one object in the middle, the green and purple one, seems a little unclear, too smudgy in comparison to the rest of the crisp, clear background. But that's just me.

Oh wow this is just so amazing and also breath taking! I love the view and how they are looking down on the town from the airship. The colors are so pretty and fit the mood so well. I really love this its so sweet! Amazing work!!

That's definitely an amazing pic! A night sky with Steph and Sportacus (usually active characters in the daytime) silently looking over Lazytown in the cool night breeze! This pic has a very relaxing feel to it, and it almost makes you feel as if you were sitting there along with the two of them! You did a great job both with the colors and with visualizing such a wonderful scene!

This is a wonderful piece~ The realism is astounding in it as well. In particular i like the way you've drawn the characters themselves and the detail you've included, from their hair to their clothes and structures. Full view is the only thing that really does this justice. Even the clouds swirling around them add to the effect =3 You really must make a wallpaper of this! It's awesome!
But i do have a few questions i want to ask you about it!
First off, do the characters have outlines? (as in coloured line outlines) I couldn't see if they did or didn't, and i was wondering about whether you used outlines and then deleted them for realism. Next, did you draw Lazytown yourself or is it an actual image that's been changed and darkened etc. Finally the hair! I love the detail on Stephanie's hair! But how did you manage to do it? Did you physically draw the shading and light or did you dodge and blur and such?

No they have no lines. What I did is as I worked, it kept their lines on a very light optamacy, turning them off often to make sure it looked the way I wanted to. And yes, I drew LT in myself from a still. The hair technique is really easy and I use this smae technique for everything! Clouds, grass, fur, trees, hair and water. This works in Adobe Photoshop.
First, you pick a medium base color and color in the base and name it.
Then, you make another layer over it and group it by pressing Ctrl+G (or going to Layer>group). What layer grouping does is it won't let anything show on the grouped layer that goes outside of the layer under it. So no matter what I do on this layer it won't show up anywhere but hte base layer. Works better than locking the Trans.
After that, in the color picker, using an imaginary line that gose from the base color to the lower right corner, you pick a color slightly darker than the base and scribble in that color. For hair, you stroke with the flow of the hair. Pick a darker color and do it again, working less and less space each time. Then pick a almost white version of the base color and do the highlights.
When that's done, you grab yer smudge and smudge it going in the flow of the hair.
Then you merge with Ctrl+E or layer>merge so that the hair has gone from two layers to just one.
After you're done with that, trim any color that might be outside the lines and then with yer smudge, vary the edges so that the edges of the hair aren't straight.
Then you can take dodge or burn both set on light settings and on Highlights mode and just add a bit of depth. You've done most of hte shading with the colors. This just helps it pop some more.
You might want to smudge a tiny bit more and then you're done.
The diffrence between hair, moutains, grass and clouds is the smudge strokes you use and the colors you choose.
