Poster made to promote my masterproject.
I like this style, so I had a lot of fun making this.
This is just a low-res version, since this will be printed at 59,4 Γ 84,1cm.

Which tools did you use (Illustrator, indesign, photoshop, ...)?
Because, I'm a beginning artist (I made a few posters to date) and I'd like to know: If you print this poster on A1-format, which is really huge, you images (like the woman) must be of MONSTROUS (when shot at 72 dpi --> 300 dpi needed) sizes, no? Or is it possible to print these images with only, for example, 200 dpi? Is it noticable?
The posters I made were all made in illustrator (and ported to indesign), and vector-based. I never inserted pictures (because it wasn't needed, I must admit)

heb jij eens niet, lang geleden, een ietwat sarcastische tutorial over deze stijl gemaakt? 't is niet echt m'n ding, sparkly glow stuff. maar wilt natuurlijk niet zeggen dat het niet goed is gedaan. ik zou zelf zeggen; perfect uitgevoerd. het zou tussen een heleboel affiches er meteen uitspringen, daar ben ik zeker van.

Maar dit is niet echt bedoelt als artistiek werk, maar als promo middel..
en als promo middel vond ik het heel erg trendy thema best wel passen in het totaalconcept.
en uiteindelijk blijft het gewoon ok leuk om te maken

Yeh, zoals ik al zei; het blijft een perfecte poster. Is inderdaad leuk om te maken..maar na enkele keren ben je zo'n stijl ook wel beu. En voel je eerder een soort van bandwerk-gevoel. Snap daarom niet waarom sommige designers/artists, ik noem geen namen, zichzelf constant aan diezelfde structuur houden. Durven ze niet, omdat hun "publiek" anders niet meer kan volgen? Goede artiesten hoeven hun publiek niet tevreden te stellen..imho.
