I like the contrast the bigger roof has to the patterns on the roof, but I don't like the other piece that emerges from the top. It interrupts the pattern and really looks like it materialized from thin air. I hope this wasn't too harsh, I'm starting to get into critiques myself and just trying to see what makes a photo unique. I do feel that the B&W was a nice touch, however.

It is not harsh if it is true. Β I like the photo, but do feel the top part takes away. Β I put it up as I enjoyed the contrasts and find it to be an unusual building.

Thank you, I'm glad it wasn't me being a stickler. It is a nice capture, I do agree, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the good and bad. I'm glad we understand each other, however.
