Description
Spirit is the focal version of a big-hole/donut bead, "Phantom", that I also made recently. The base of this hand-shaped bead is clear glass; this has been decorated with silver-rich glass. Special treatment in the flame has brought out a delicate iridescence in the silver glass which I have then encased in a further layer of clear.The overall effect is an ethereal, ghost-like core, which almost disappears at some angles and then bursts through again as the bead is turned in the light.
