Hello!This is a portrait of my lovely friend *StacyLeFevre she was modeling for me for 3 hours so I painted this from life in Photoshop
First upload after years! I wrote a little journal entry.

It's interesting how your work highlights reality by dancing around it. I feel like there are parts of this, and every other thing you do, that I can touch and yet you maintain your distance. Nothing over-rendered, no textures that distort the distance between the viewer and the subject. These are just my thoughts as I wonder what is making me look at this 30 minutes after I first saw it.

Deine PortrΓ€t-Reihe ist wirklich sagenhaft! Da stecken so viele Details drin... Und ich wette, dass man die Personen sofort wiedererkennt, falls man sie kennt.
Ich finde es interessant, dass du sie alle so Γ€hnlich positioniert hast, und dass sie auch alle Γ€hnliche Kleidung tragen. Und natΓΌrlich der gleichartige Hintergrund. So sieht man natΓΌrlich auch gleich, dass es eine zusammenhΓ€ngende PortrΓ€t-Reihe ist.

danke. Ich hab allen gesagt dass die was simples tragen sollen weil ich mich auf die Gesichter konzentrieren wollte. alle (bis jetzt) sind etwa zur selben tageszeit entstanden. Dass alle die selbe Pose haben liegt eher daran dass ich platztechnisch keine andere Moeglichkeit habe.^^

wow the lighting and texturing is incredible. First time I saw it i thought Its half photo half painted. Only her bright side face looks a bit off, but that maybe because of the painting marks in the bg on the left.
