Very cool... I love how the rays emanate out from her. Good choice to make this a subtle effect, instead of so many images I see where it's overpowering and, to my eyes at least, makes it look a little too cheesy. You've struck just the right balance.

Wolfie,
I like this one. You did some very good work with it. You didn't use a lens flare, it looks like you used volumetrics.

You are welcome. But i was wondering if you used volumetric lighting.

No, first I rendered the background with the bench, in which the Uberpoint light is positioned where her chest is, to create shadows from the bench and from the part of the wall that looks like a fireplace. Then I rendered her and the bench alone with a couple distantlights with no shadows applied. Both png renders with UberEnvironment light of course.
Then layered the two together, merged, duplicated, and did various types of layering (overlay, multiply, dodge, hard light, etc) & color tweaks (black/white) in various opacity, and then with the "only her" png, I deleted the bench, did a soft glow, copied it over to the original, and in Photoshop, I did a flare brush. Again I grabbed the "only her" png which I deleted the bench and layered over the whole thing, in which she and her wings look natural but the rest of the image looks glowy. The flare layer is at the very top with about 30% opacity.
Basically I played and played till I was happy lol, don't have a set standard way of doing it. I should have wrote it all down though!
I really don't know what "volumetric" light is, but I might have it for DS LOL. Can ya describe it?

DS3A comes with volumetric lighting. Its a process which you can create a god ray or spotlights through smoke. There is a tutorial that can help: [link] .

Naw, that's more like smokey lights, I've played with those before, not the same type as as a very lighted up/glowy "heavenly" scene.
