I'm trying to get better at backgrounds, but I don't even know where to start. What part do you sketch out first? On average, how long does a fully fleshed out background piece like this take? Any tips for colouring? Would you ever be willing to do a tutorial? Thanks, and amazing piece!

well i usually just scribble out some interesting shapes then I flood the screen with colors until it looks interesting and from that point I just refine the shapes and push around the colors until its done
