You have a great understanding of erosional features. That dry creek bed is simply choice, with the abrupt transition to weaker strata. I don't know how those stony spires became thus uplifted, but they look plausible, and also legendary. Perhaps it wasn't uplift; they could be dykes, igneous intrusions with surrounding sediment eroded away etc. I know I'm focusing on the geology, but really everything is amazing. The flora is beautiful, especially the blue-illumined foreground bulbous fruits. Speaking of, composition: great contrast from the edges to the center. The contours really work, yet none seem artificially inserted. And the steampunk-style mech is all of exceptional design. I love the atmospherics. Yet you know I must give some constructive crit: it is a little unclear for some of the shaded-lit transition rays which is the progenitorial occluding object, given the visible primary source (which needn't be the only one). All your art is really great, but this one really catches the eye, has elements that I am more comfortable speaking to, and simply demands appreciation. Only those insecure in their artistic development are likely to say otherwise. You sir are a render artist's artist, and this is a painter's painting. Bravo.
