Saw your hay bale and it looked like part of my landscape. I love those things too. One money I got up at sunrise to go to a nearby farm to shoot them. The glow of the summer sunrise and the mist on the fields made for an interesting experience. I have dozens of shots from that day but haven't posted one yet. I'm from the Bellaire, Michigan area.

niiice. and so very well said. i'm not sure what drew me to it really it was just a feeling. i guess i was fascinated with the mix of simplistic shapes consisting of intense detail. i saw a really nice one in your gallery earlier. [link] (for those who have yet to see it) simply beautiful. you can almost feel the warming sun and the dew covering your shoes. keep posting as you have some amazing shots. until next time... enjoY

thank you so much. i noticed that about hay bales. we view them from the road and rarely think twice about them. yet when you get up on them they are really quite detailed. tightly rolled spiral of hay. to me the best thing about this and what really drew me to it was the coloring of the shot. this was a cold day so the image was fairly crisp. one of my favorite colors is green, and second favorite is the orange/yellow's. to me they compliment each other very well. i'm very glad you liked it.

thank you, i am trying to get in the habit of submitting about 10 a week. this week i got a little carried away. this too stood out for me. i was just drawn to its simplicity and coloring. it was amazing to me, on how something we drive by every day gets overlooked yet has so much to it... thank you for sharing that appreciation and for all of your great support.
